In everyday life we operate as Paulina and Dominik but on social media you will find us under the name takeabreakpd. For more than 10 years we have been a happily married couple who share a passion for travelling in the near and far corners of Europe and the world.
We are not afraid of new challenges and what other countries that are still unknown to us hide within. We have already had the opportunity to live in Scotland and Bavaria. Each time, we treat it like a new adventure and we take full advantage of these experiences.
Travelling is an important part of our life and gives us incredible energy to act and also allows us not to give up on routine and the mundane of life.
We started our blogging adventure in 2020, when the world was gripped by the Covid 19 pandemic. The blog was born out of mundane reasons of anger and grief. Added to this was the impotence of not being able to go anywhere and sitting locked up like a cage. It was then that the idea was born to at least revisit our past trips in our memories….
It worked!
A passion for the humanities and a background in IT complement each other perfectly in our case and allow us to create travel recommendations for you, which we hope you enjoy using!
The blog is growing steadily and we get a lot of joy out of writing for you.
But lest it be that we live for travel alone…. we also like good whisky and fast motorbikes.
